Hello there! Thanks for stopping by our website. At The Book Sieve (TBS) you can find clean content ratings, book reviews, and book blogs. The driving force behind the founding of TBS was the idea to have a resource that can help conservative, especially Muslim, readers navigate mainstream fiction and non-fiction books and be able to filter by the content they are comfortable reading.

On more than one occasion we found ourselves with a book we were very excited to read and halfway through the book we realized that it casually includes content that as a Muslim we should not be engaging with. What is even more concerning is the content that young children are exposed to nowadays as well. The frustration of not being able to find literature that we could enjoy led to the creation of TBS.

TBS was founded in 2022 but due to several reasons, we were not able to truly start running it regularly until 2023. Now we are ready to get our heads on lots of books and discuss them all. We have many books on our To-Be-Read list but also welcome your advice.
